Empowered decision-making, resilience, passion, strong caliber, life-altering values are the truest qualities of women in leadership positions.

On 8th March, 2024, I had the distinct pleasure of attending the illustrators G100: Is India Woman Ready? Summit 2024. There, I ascended the role of Director of Administration for Global Media Arts & Communication (GMAC) India Country Advisory Council (CAD). G100: Is India Woman Ready? Summit 2024 was more of an immersive experience than just a conference. It convened 50-100 influential thought leaders, A-list panellists having discussions on India’s readiness. As women from generations across the spectrum came together to mark the celebration of women, I got to foster subline connections with all. Corporate leaders discussing all things leadership sparked their learning perspectives on the evolution of leadership in the current global and local aspect. Delivering The Vote of Thanks unspooled a tale of newness and a sense of belonging in the corporate sphere for a young soul like myself. Encountering like-minded women as we shared the fascinating realities about the lives we lead became essential. Seldom, having decisions to make in the professional aspect in order to manifest the perfect outcome can be crucial. I got to understand the vitality in perceiving our frequencies as factors influencing the decisions we make.

Unexpected instances and unraveled beliefs pulled up to question the density of the progress that India as a country has made. Then, we braced up for another panel discussion on Women Empowering Women: The Strength & Impact of Support. The opinion of Misha Dange, a social entrepreneur and a start-up specialist, emerged as the focal point of the discussion. In her words, “women having to fight for equality should not become a trend or a movement.” Measuring the degree of productivity for all genders on the spectrum should be scaled in uniformity.

For when women in the C-suite leadership positions can widely express their opinions on such matters, why mustn’t we as individuals embrace these logical thoughts.
