1. What was your childhood like and how did it shape who you are today?

Growing up, I was always a curious and creative child, quiet but observant, and deeply connected to aesthetics even before I knew the word for it. I didn’t come from a fashion or beauty background. In fact, mine was a very grounded, middle-class upbringing, where practicality was prized over luxury. But even then, I found joy in little things like arranging bangles by color, designing my notebooks with precision, and imagining outfits in my head when I saw fabric scraps in the market.

By the time I was in Class 10, I had unknowingly started building a collection, over 300 press-on nails and nail art pieces that I treated like treasures. Each set told a story. It wasn’t just a hobby; it was my way of expressing myself, even in silence. There was an unspoken pressure to follow the ‘safe’ path–academics, a secure job, the usual. And I did that. I climbed the corporate ladder, handled global projects, and ticked every box that defined success on paper. But something always felt incomplete. That silent nudge from childhood, the love for beauty, self-expression, and creativity never went away.

Nailorgeous was born from that very feeling, a reflection of the girl I was and the woman I’ve become. My childhood taught me the value of details, the elegance in simplicity, and most importantly, the need to believe in your own voice, even when it’s quiet. Today, I have built Nailorgeous not just as a beauty/fashion brand, but as a statement of modern femininity and unapologetic self-love for every woman who wants to express herself without needing validation.

2. What does a typical day in your life look like?

Honestly, there’s no such thing as a typical day anymore. I wear multiple hats and juggle more than a few roles, all within 24 hours that somehow never feel enough. By day, I handle high-stakes responsibilities in my corporate job–leading teams, managing strategic projects, and ensuring deliverables hit their mark. And by night (and sometimes during breaks, weekends, and the quiet hours when the world sleeps), I switch gears completely into the founder of Nailorgeous.

Emails, packaging tweaks, creative brainstorms, content planning, inventory checks, customer care–I’m involved in it all. It’s a one-woman show most days, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Sleep feels like a luxury on some days, but so does living with purpose.

That said, I’m fiercely protective of my physical and mental wellness. I’ve learned the hard way that if I don’t take care of myself, everything else falls apart. That’s why I commit to daily movement with Cult, whether it’s a strength class, yoga, or just 20 minutes of conscious breathing through guided meditation. It’s my anchor before the chaos begins, and sometimes, my reset button mid-day.

No two days are alike, but every day ends with the satisfaction that I’m building something that’s mine, from scratch. Something beautiful, something empowering. Nailorgeous isn’t just a brand, it’s my second skin, and every challenge only reminds me why I started.

3. Tell us about your professional journey and how you got to the position you are in today.

My journey has been anything but linear, and that’s exactly what makes it meaningful.

I didn’t come from a traditional business background, nor did I rely on an MBA to carve my path. What I did have was ambition, curiosity, and a relentless drive to learn, grow, and lead with integrity. Over the years, I’ve built my career from the ground up, driven by real-world experiences. I’ve had the honor of being a Megathon winner, a speaker at Women Talk Design, and now, I serve as a Strategy Manager, where I work at the intersection of transformation, leadership alignment, and strategic execution for some of the most complex business challenges.

But behind the job titles and milestones lies a core belief: success doesn’t come from shortcuts, it comes from showing up with discipline, heart, and authenticity. I’ve always chosen the harder right over the easier wrong. Whether I was the only woman in the room or the youngest at the table, I used those moments to lead with quiet strength, empathy, and vision.

In parallel with my corporate path, I became a Certified Pranic Healer. It has been a deeply transformative journey, one that taught me the importance of energy, balance, and inner alignment. This lens of wellness now shapes how I show up, not just as a professional, but as a founder, leader, and human being. It’s helped me bring more mindfulness and resilience into everything I do, especially while wearing multiple hats.

All these experiences came together in the creation of Nailorgeous–a brand that’s more than just press-on nails. It’s a movement rooted in self-love, modern femininity, and unapologetic confidence. Just like my journey, the brand is bold, honest, and built from the heart.

4. Name one or several people you admire in history and tell us why. They could be living or have already passed.

One sportsperson I deeply admire is Sania Mirza. Her journey has always inspired me, not just because of her exceptional talent, but because of the way she has redefined strength, resilience, and grace under pressure. As a young Indian woman growing up, watching her break through stereotypes and dominate the global tennis scene was incredibly empowering.

Sania  won more than titles, she won respect in a space where Indian women had little representation. She was unapologetically ambitious, never compromising on her dreams or her voice, even when society placed countless expectations on her shoulders. That kind of clarity and confidence, to own your identity without apology, is something I carry forward every day as a founder. Whether I’m strategizing for Nailorgeous, managing my full-time job, or dedicating time to wellness and spiritual growth, I often remind myself of how Sania balanced being a top-tier athlete, a mother, a trailblazer, and a grounded individual, all at once.

Her resilience, self-belief, and calm focus remind me that strength doesn’t always roar, it sometimes shows up quietly, in consistency and conviction. That’s the energy I bring into Nailorgeous – a brand that celebrates self-love, power, and elegance at your fingertips

5. Have you had any mentors along the way? Could you share about them and their influence in your life?

Yes, and quite unexpectedly, it has been my younger brother who has played the role of a mentor, coach, and guiding light throughout my journey.

People often think mentorship comes from someone older or more experienced, but for me, it’s been the quiet strength and relentless support of my brother that has shaped who I am. He’s been the one to ask the tough questions, offer the right nudges, and remind me of my own power on days I doubted myself, whether it was navigating a corporate challenge, making bold decisions for Nailorgeous, or simply managing the chaos of wearing multiple hats in a day. He’s a spiritually evolved soul and a genuinely good human being, someone who leads with clarity, compassion, and incredible inner strength. Despite being younger, he has always had a rare knack for sensing the unexpected and helping me navigate life’s most complex crossroads.

He has been my anchor, my voice of reason, and sometimes the only person who saw light when everything else felt dark. I often say that while I wear multiple hats, he’s the silent force helping me adjust them with calmness and conviction. His perspective has shaped how I make choices with courage, integrity, and purpose.

6. What has been the greatest challenge in your journey and how did you overcome it?

One of the greatest challenges in my journey has been balancing dual roles, managing a demanding full-time leadership position in the corporate world while building Nailorgeous from the ground up as a founder. Both are full-time commitments, and trying to excel at each means sacrificing sleep, juggling endless responsibilities, and constantly shifting gears between strategy decks and press-on nail designs.

There were days when it felt like I was burning the candle at both ends, leading team meetings by day and handling packaging, branding, and customer experience tasks late into the night. Amidst all this, taking care of my own well-being was a silent struggle. Sleep became a luxury, and staying grounded required conscious effort.

What helped me push through this phase was a mix of discipline, purpose, and wellness. I began following a routine with daily workouts and meditation through Cult, and I deepened my spiritual strength through Pranic Healing. These practices brought clarity, balance, and emotional resilience. I also learned to embrace imperfect progress, choosing momentum over perfection.

But there was one moment that changed everything.

When we launched one of our early Nailorgeous combos, a customer messaged:
“I wore your press-on nails for an interview because I couldn’t afford a salon, and I felt beautiful and confident. I got the job.”

That single message became my fuel. It reminded me exactly why I started Nailorgeous to empower women to feel confident, expressive, and seen.

That turning point reaffirmed my belief that impact doesn’t always come from grand gestures. Sometimes, it’s about deeply touching someone’s life through something as simple as nails. From that moment on, every sleepless night felt worth it.

Today, I look back because it was so meaningful. This dual path tested my patience, stretched my limits, and shaped my resilience. Nailorgeous is a reflection of every small win, every ounce of belief, and the quiet power of showing up every day, even when it’s hard.

7. How do you balance your work and personal life and what is one thing you enjoy doing in your free time?

Balancing work and personal life hasn’t always been easy, especially while managing a full-time strategy role and building Nailorgeous from scratch. But over time, I’ve learned that balance isn’t about doing everything – it’s about choosing what nourishes you.

I now consciously carve out time for things that help me recharge, Zumba classes for the energy boost, reading books and listening to podcasts to fuel my curiosity, and spending quality time with my family on weekend outings to stay connected to what truly matters.

These moments of joy and rest help me stay grounded and creative, and remind me that success means little if you’re not mentally and emotionally fulfilled. I’ve also realized that it’s okay to not have a “perfect balance” – what matters is being present wherever you are, whether in work or in life.

8. What do you think is the biggest concern for global youth today and how do you think it could be solved?

One of the biggest concerns I see among global youth today is the increasing tendency to look for shortcuts to success – a desire for overnight results, viral moments, or quick wins. In a world of instant gratification, persistence and integrity often take a back seat, especially on the days when progress is invisible and results are slow to show. What worries me is the impatience and burnout that come when young people feel like they’re failing just because success didn’t arrive instantly. Resilience is rare, and the willingness to keep showing up without applause is fading. I believe this can be solved by redefining success as a journey, not a final destination. We need to start celebrating consistency, hard work in silence, and value systems that reward patience and ethics. Mentorship, storytelling, and creating more visible examples of people who succeed through grit, not shortcuts, can inspire youth to trust the process.

True transformation comes from showing up even when it’s hard, and staying honest to your purpose. To address this, we must shift the narrative around success from fast, flashy wins to long-term discipline and purpose-driven growth. This change can begin in three key ways: Education systems and early mentorship: Schools and colleges should emphasize resilience, consistency, and emotional intelligence, not just achievement. Youth should be exposed to real stories of struggle, failure, and eventual success not just highlight reels. Celebrating process, not just results: Social media and public platforms must start celebrating “the journey” – the days when someone showed up despite no external rewards. If we glorify the grind, not just the glam, we’ll inspire more sustainable ambition.

Role models and communities: Youth need access to mentors, communities, and stories that champion ethical progress, self-awareness, and delayed gratification. Leaders, influencers, and creators must lead by example by talking openly about the hard days and quiet progress.

Mindfulness and spiritual grounding: Building inner strength through practices like meditation, journaling, or spiritual disciplines (like Pranic Healing) can help youth stay centered, motivated, and aligned even when results aren’t immediate.

9. Which are some ways in which you are creating a positive change in the world?

Through my brand Nailorgeous, I’m building a space that celebrates confidence, self-love, and unapologetic femininity. Every product is crafted with the intent to help women feel seen, powerful, and beautiful. I’ve had customers write in saying our nails gave them the courage to attend interviews, show up at events, or simply feel good on days they were struggling. These small wins remind me that beauty can be a form of healing and empowerment.

In addition to Nailorgeous, I also conduct offline Pranic Healing classes, helping individuals tap into their own energy systems for emotional and physical wellness. It’s a deeply fulfilling experience to guide people toward inner clarity, peace, and strength especially in today’s fast-paced, anxiety-driven world.

Whether it’s helping someone feel beautiful through nails or helping them heal energetically through Pranic Healing, my mission is to create positive, lasting shifts in how people show up in the world with light, self-belief, and grace.

10. What is a mantra that you live by and how does it help you on a daily basis?

“Show up. Do the work. Detach from the outcome.”

This mantra grounds me every single day. Whether I’m facing setbacks, celebrating small wins, or pushing through a phase of silence where nothing seems to be moving, I remind myself that consistency matters more than instant success. It helps me stay aligned with my purpose, rather than chasing temporary validation.

In both my entrepreneurial journey with Nailorgeous and my personal growth as a Pranic Healer, this mindset keeps me resilient. It teaches me that results will come in their own time but what truly shapes me is my ability to keep going, with integrity and intention, even when no one’s watching and nothing seems to be happening.

11. If you were to give advice to young people aiming to follow your professional path, what would it be?

Start where you are. Don’t wait for the perfect plan, perfect time, or all the answers to fall into place because they rarely do.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that momentum builds clarity. Even if you don’t have it all figured out right now, take the first step however small it may seem. Launch the idea, sign up for the course, make the call, test the concept–just begin.

It’s never too late to start, but it’s always too easy to postpone. Don’t let overthinking stop you. The path reveals itself as you walk it. Consistency and courage in imperfect action will take you much further than waiting for perfection ever will.

Conclusion:

Sanchita Khare’s journey is a powerful reminder that resilience, purpose, and self-belief can carry you through even the most demanding paths. Balancing a high-pressure corporate role while building Nailorgeous from the ground up was tough but has been deeply meaningful. Her story proves that impact doesn’t always come from grand gestures, but often from small moments that touch lives. Today, Nailorgeous stands as a reflection of her grit, vision, and commitment to empowering women, one press-on nail at a time.
