1. What was your childhood like and how did it shape who you are today?

My childhood was full of curiosity and constant exploration. I was the kid who took apart smart gadgets to understand how they were contrived and I often stayed up late tinkering with computers. This insatiable curiosity is what shaped my drive to always question the status quo and seek out new challenges. I grew up in an environment where I was encouraged to ask, “Why not?” instead of “Why?” which laid the foundation for my ambitious goals today.

2. What does a typical day in your life look like?

I start my day with a quick check-in on tech news after a strong cup of double-shot espresso. Then, it’s a mix of some hard-core research, and hands-on problem-solving, followed by conceptualizing some projects before meetings begin. I prioritize strategic planning in the morning when my mind is freshest, then shift to operational tasks in the afternoon. I make sure to carve out time for personal projects—whether it’s experimenting with a new tech concept or diving into a book. 

I often engage with clients or the team to discuss ideas or solve issues that come up. The evenings are reserved for personal projects or unwinding with a good book. The day usually ends with a late-night brainstorming session when creativity seems to strike the hardest. Throughout the day, I strive to find balance by incorporating moments of introspection and some calisthenics to keep the mind sharp and stress at bay.

3. Tell us about your professional journey and how you got to the position you are in today.

My journey has been a relentless pursuit of goals that many would call overly ambitious. Making records by achieving 14 IT certifications at a very young age and diving into competitive fields like cybersecurity took a lot of hard work, extensive caffeine-fueled study sessions and determination. Now I hold over 24 Expert level IT Certifications. It was about constantly proving my worth in a field dominated by seasoned professionals. Every breakthrough was earned through incessant learning, and the fortitude to exceed my own expectations.

Breaking into the cybersecurity world was tough, but I was determined to prove that age didn’t define capability. My approach was straightforward: aim higher than anyone expected and make the struggles part of the process.

4. Name one or several people you admire in history and tell us why. They could be living or have already passed.

I was inspired by Alan Turing, not just for his work in computing but for his audacity to think differently since he cracked the Enigma code and laid the groundwork for modern computer science while overcoming immense personal and societal challenges. His ingenuity reminds me that true innovation often comes from those who dare to question conventional theory, regardless of the odds.

I also have a high regard for John McCarthy, the father of artificial intelligence, who was driven by an unquenchable ambition to simulate human reasoning with machines.

5. Have you had any mentors along the way? Could you share about them and their influence in your life?

Yes, my dad has been my greatest mentor. He has been my guiding force, a constant source of support and practical wisdom. He has an intuitive understanding of problem-solving and perseverance. Whenever I faced a setback, he would help me dissect the issue and view it as a learning opportunity. His influence taught me to approach challenges not as obstacles but as problems that need a creative solution. His insights helped shape my mindset toward entrepreneurship. His influence taught me to always stay humble and decked, even when pursuing lofty goals.

He’s always the first person I turn to when I’m stuck, whether it’s a business dilemma or just life advice. He has a knack for cutting through the noise and getting to the heart of an issue, which helps me see things clearly when my thoughts are all over the place. His influence taught me to think big and that has shaped not just my career but my entire approach to life.

6.What has been the greatest challenge in your journey and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge was overcoming skepticism as a young entrepreneur in cybersecurity. Many doubted my capabilities because of my age, it wasn’t enough to be good—I had to be exceptional. I tackled this by letting my credentials speak—stacking up prestigious and advanced certifications, delivering results, and continuously proving that expertise doesn’t come only from years but also from perseverance and passion. I sought out rigorous projects that were demanding and often without any help, I used them as opportunities to prove my skills.  Over time, the results spoke louder than my age. Each win helped build the credibility that was hard-earned, not conferred.

7.How do you balance your work and personal life and what is one thing you enjoy doing in your free time?

I view my career and personal pursuits as interconnected facets of growth. I’ve found that balance isn’t about dividing time equally between work and life but about being fully present in whichever I’m engaged in. When I work, I’m all in, and when I’m with family or pursuing hobbies, I disconnect from professional matters. Some days, work demands more attention, and I embrace that intensity. Being mindful of what’s important—whether it’s spending time with family and friends or focusing on key projects—helps me maintain that balance. In my free time, I enjoy delving into algorithmic trading and automated trading systems. It’s a fascinating blend of financial markets, data analysis, and advanced programming. I often spend my leisure time experimenting with neoteric AI models and developing proof-of-concept with quantum algorithms through simulations. I believe it’s a field that holds incredible potential.

8. What do you think is the biggest concern for global youth today and how do you think it could be solved?

Navigating a future where automation and AI redefine traditional career paths. Skills that were once valuable are becoming obsolete. To address this, youth need an understanding of how to work symbiotically with these technologies. A critical concern is the accelerating pace of technological disruption, where emerging technologies like AI, quantum computing, and blockchain are transforming industries faster than current education systems can adapt. As automation and machine learning algorithms increasingly outperform humans in repetitive and even complex tasks, traditional career trajectories are being destabilized.

To solve this, education must shift from static knowledge-based models to dynamic, skills-oriented frameworks emphasizing computational thinking, data science, and ethics in technology. Advanced programs in fields like quantum information science or neuromorphic computing should be integrated into higher education to prepare youth for cutting-edge areas that will define the future. Moreover, fostering interdisciplinary expertise is essential; combining fields like bioinformatics, AI, and cybersecurity can yield adaptive skills capable of addressing multifaceted problems in an evolving landscape.

9. Which are some ways in which you are creating a positive change in the world?

Through IntellChromatics, I’m working to make advanced technology accessible and secure for businesses of all sizes. Our R&D efforts extend to developing ethical AI frameworks that emphasize transparency, ensuring machine learning models are not only efficient but also fair and secure.
